2010 will be an exciting year for us. We recently purchased the Front Forty Ranch in Rockford. This, in addition to the land previously purchased, will allow us to produce more of our winning wethers. Our breeding program has been expanded with the purchase of two bucks with excellent bloodlines. Please add us to your favorites and check back early March 2010 to have a first look at the wethers from the new bucks.
In the fall of 2010, we will flush our top notch does to two of the nations best wether producing bucks.
We have partnered up with Alex Prickett of Elm Fork Boer Goats in order to get some of the fullbloods in the show ring. We have high expectations for this year's breeding of our top does to Ennobled bucks. They will hit the show circuit early spring 2010.
While we have wethers to fit every budget, our specialty is the first time exhibitor. This year we offered a First Time Exhibitor package. It was a big hit especially with the Ag teachers and 4-H leaders. In the package you get a a nice, healthy, gentle wether, a food dish, water bucket, show chain, halter, one bag of feed and a booklet on raising your wether for show.. for one price. Because of it's popularity, we will once again have the package in 2010. We also plan on having a clinic at the Front Forty late in October 2010 for those folks who purchased wethers from us. We provide a discount to 4-H and FFA clubs.
At this time all of our wethers are sold private treaty at both locations. There are five pens set up, each having a different price range starting at 150.00. That way when you come to look at the wethers, go to the pen that fits your budget and pick out your next winner !. Dates of when the wethers will go on sale will be placed here about March 1st, 2010.
While show wethers are our main focus, we will start selling does and a limited number of bucks. The bucks and does are for sale private treaty at any time. Breeding to our bucks is available, please call for details.
